Since Kansas City is about to have another string of rainy days, I thought today's list would give you some ideas on what's great to do on a rainy day - with the family of course!
- Pray for sunshine
- Order the new exotic Designer Snuggie
- Drink a Hot, Buttered Rum
- Eat some GOOD chili
- Sleep
- Read a trashy novel
- Reading outside on the porch
- Cooking a pot of beans, split pea soup or chili
- Catch up on the DVR
- Have a picnic inside
- Eat tomato soup & grilled cheese
- Read a good book
- Bake brownies
- Sit and listen to the sound of the rain
- Take a walk in the rain
- Look at old family photos
- Do a puzzle in front of an open window
- Play scrabble
- Make homemade popcorn and watch a movie with the kids
Overall, I got lots of repeats or similars for reading, sleeping, cooking and tv/movies. If you can't find something to do on THIS list, let me know what you end up doing during the rainy days this weekend!
Me? I'll be heading to a football game for my boys. Yeah - football in the rain ROCKS! :)
